I'm Hubert, a senior graphic designer at the Portuguese Air Force. I bring together art, technology and a hands-on approach to making things.

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY PRACTICE
From an idea to something you can see, hear or use.
My work spans graphic design, art direction, multimedia, web design and photography. Alongside that practice, I explore music production, motion graphics and digital art — different ways of giving an idea a distinctive form.
Art and technology have interested me since childhood. Programming and prototyping extend that curiosity beyond the image, helping me connect visual thinking with how things work.
Science, philosophy, the outdoors and the world around me keep that curiosity alive. They feed the questions I ask and the directions I explore.
Since October 2025, I have also been part of the editorial design team of Mais Alto, the Portuguese Air Force magazine, working on article layouts and selected covers.
BACKGROUND
A foundation in design.
I began with a three-year, Level 4 course in Graphic Design, followed by a bachelor's degree in Design at IADE in Lisbon. That foundation continues to inform a practice built through projects across several disciplines.
DUNGENLABS
Making ideas tangible.
I also lead DungenLabs, a design and engineering studio working with rapid prototyping, PCB design, embedded electronics and high-accuracy 3D printing. We connect concept, CAD, interface and enclosure design with assembly and verification.
