“Spirit of mission” was Professor Carlos Marques’s motto. Narrated in the first person, the documentary follows his life and his fight for artistic freedom.
02 / MY PARTICIPATION
A different way
to tell a story.
I was invited to portray the younger version of Professor Carlos Marques. Working with the Professor and director Sérgio Duarte brought me into a different creative practice: character, gesture and presence in front of the camera.
This project is shown here as a performing-arts collaboration. The film and its direction belong to Sérgio Duarte and the credited production.
