EATTNewsletter.
A daily exercise in
editorial design.
Art direction and layout for a daily exercise newsletter, turning the work of a multidisciplinary PR team into a coherent publication.
A different visual starting point each day, inspired by a country participating in the exercise.
Inside the process
Many voices.
One publication.
European Air Transport Training aims to improve interoperability between the airlift aircraft of EDA member states. In 2015, I worked within a PR team of translators, reporters, photographers, cameramen and a PR director, with a pilot guiding the creative and photographic work.
My role was to direct the visual work: develop ideas and graphic elements, and design the newsletter itself. Information gathering, writing, translation and feedback fed into a new edition each day.
Gather.
Bring together reporting, photography and translated material from the team.
Shape.
Develop the visual direction, graphic elements and layout for the edition.
Publish.
Carry the country-inspired theme through a fresh daily newsletter.
The edition continues across both sides: layouts, image treatments and visual details.
